Radioplay Adaption of
the Charles Dickens Classic by Cora Wilson Greenwood
Directed by Lisa Nichols
Produced by Special Arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
There in his gloomy chambers, supposedly secure against surprise, Ebenezer Scrooge is about to have Christmas Eve company – and there’s not a caroler in the bunch. Four ghostly visitors usher him into the most horrifying nightmare he’s ever seen…his own wretched life of utter-selfishness.
Come along on his journey with the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, all of whom attempt to point Scrooge onto a virtuous path. Meet the most notable characters ever introduced in literature: Bob Cratchit, angelic Tiny Tim, and good-natured Fred. 'A Christmas Carol' will enrapture both the young and old with a vital lesson on hope and benevolence for humanity.
Recorded locally with some old and new faces from LACT's stage, this old fashioned radio broadcast will inspire your imagination and remind your family that it’s never too late to change for the better.
